Resources Global Professionals is currently seeking Accounting Professionals to join our Detroit practice. This position will integrate seamlessly into a variety of client internal consulting engagements throughout the Detroit area. The Accounting Professional will assist clients on either a special project or interim need basis in their functional areas of discipline. The successful candidate will have a positive, professional attitude and will be able to work as a team player. The nature of the work will require that the candidate demonstrate initiative and responsibility and be flexible and adaptive to fluid business environments.

Professional Qualifications:
• SEC reporting (preparation of Forms 10Q and 10K)
• Restatement of prior year financials
• FAS 109, 123, 133, 141 research and/or implementation
• Hyperion/HFM, SAP, Oracle or PeopleSoft proficiency and/or implementation
• Specifically for Financial Services: Knowledge of securities products (i.e. equities, fixed income, etc.), Basel II and regulatory reporting
• Internal audit and/or Sarbanes-Oxley documentation, testing or remediation
• Change Management
• Minimum of 8-10 years of professional experience
• Prior experience with a public accounting or large professional services firm a plus.
• 4-year bachelor degree required.
• Excellent communication, writing, and grammar skills; attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task and demonstrate a sense of urgency.
• Ability to adapt to new environments quickly and create improved efficiency.
