This position will integrate seamlessly into a variety of client internal consulting engagements throughout the Detroit area. The Accounting Professional will assist clients on either a special project or interim need basis in their functional areas of discipline.

As a Consultant with Resources Global Professionals you will have the opportunity to partner with clients ranging from mid-size companies to the Fortune 100. Professional Qualifications:
- SEC reporting (preparation of Forms 10Q and 10K)
- Restatement of prior year financials
- FAS 109, 123, 133, 141 research and/or implementation
- Hyperion/HFM, SAP, Oracle or PeopleSoft proficiency and/or implementation
Specifically for Financial Services:
- Knowledge of securities products (i.e. equities, fixed income, etc.), Basel II and regulatory reporting.
- Internal audit and/or Sarbanes-Oxley documentation, testing or remediation.
- Change Management.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of professional experience.
- Prior experience with a public accounting or large professional services firm a plus.
- 4-year bachelor degree required.
- Excellent communication, writing, and grammar skills; attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task and demonstrate a sense of urgency.
- Ability to adapt to new environments quickly and create improved efficiency.
