Ideal candidates will possess the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and relevant work experience
Industry and/or consulting experience in strategic sourcing
Former Manager, Director and VP titles
Big Four Consulting experience a plus
Fortune 1000 background
8+ years experience in Supply Chain Management (Procurement, Materials Management, and Contracts Management) including minimum 5+ years at Manager or Director level
Inventory management
Project management skills
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement commodity and services sourcing strategies which yield measurable reductions in spend.
eSourcing/eProcurement systems experience
Specific commodity or services expertise
Ability to lead and direct sourcing teams in identifying, communicating and implementing sourcing strategies and Supply Chain Management best practices.
Ability to effectively utilize third party spend data in identifying spend reduction opportunities.
