Resources Global Professionals is looking for an Internal Audit Consultant with experience in leading and conducting escheat audits to join our San Francisco Bay Area practice. As a Consultant with Resources Global Professionals you will have the ability to play an instrumental role in assisting clients in a variety of challenging projects that will make a positive impact on their ability to do business.

Professional Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience working in an internal audit capacity for medium to large sized companies; solid technical accounting skills, large-scale or international.
- Experience conducting escheat audits activities involving multiple states in last three years.
- Demonstrated ability utilizing sound audit methodology, tools, and techniques to create and implement an audit strategy and establish sustainable audit programs.
- Adept at assessing risk trends and identifying controls within current state processes; ability to remediate and make recommendations to implement best practices.
- Manage audit processes and documentation consistent with IIA professional auditing standards.
- Strong knowledge of internal control concepts, GAAP, and Sarbanes-Oxley Act requirements.
- Exceptional project management skills as evidenced by management of multiple or simultaneous financial audits.
- Proficient in working with large scale ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle.
- Strong communication and client relationship skills; ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with senior management.
- Fortune 500 background and/or Big Four Accounting experience a plus.
- CPA or CIA certified.
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree a plus.
- Willingness to travel to San Francisco Bay Area clients (area includes San Francisco, East Bay, and South Bay).
